Construction Scheduler
Promatech, Inc. is looking for an experienced professional to work as a Construction Scheduler.
Roles and Responsibilities- Responsible for managing time and resources to ensure work/project is completed on time.
- Supporting the project management staff in the preparation of project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Providing support in the definition of Work Breakdown Structure
- Identifying potential scheduling delays
Job Requirements - BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
- Ability to read contract documents and construction plans.
- Create a high-level master schedule that incorporates the initial CPM schedule and the contractors’ schedule.
- Monitor project milestones.
- Perform critical path analysis.
- Provide information on items impacting the project schedule.
- Ability to analyze project delays and offer solutions.
- Work closely with various disciplines in project teams.
- Provide a summary and report on project progress.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
Salary/Benefits - Salary is dependent upon related education and certifications and years of related experience. Range: $70,000 – $175,000

Construction Inspector
Promatech, Inc. is looking for an experienced professional to work as a Construction Inspector.
Roles and Responsibilities- Read and understand plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Planning, coordinating, inspecting and/or overseeing project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance and standards.
- Reviewing and maintaining pertinent project documentation and ensuring that it accurately details construction progress, activities, and materials.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting project inspection reports, work authorizations, work orders and estimates. Notifying contractor of non-compliance and corrective action.
- Attending pre-bid, pre-construction and progress meetings throughout the course of the project.
- Interacting with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.
- Experience with public works infrastructure in nature, specifically roadway, bridge, highway, and traffic signal related labor, water and wastewater, utilities, etc.
- Creating and maintaining healthy relationships with clients, contractors and others; Acting as a liaison when necessary to make sure all parties are informed of all progress.
- Being responsible for making sure all paperwork is complete and accurate with State, Local and Federal Requirements
- Supervising the inspection of construction projects; establishing achievable goals and monitoring employee progress while maintaining personnel records.
- Meeting project deadlines which may mean working nights, weekends and over time.
Job Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
- 5+ past years experience in the construction or engineering industry
- Certifications/Registrations (preferred) – NICET III or IV, NECEPT, ACI, NJ SAT, etc.
- Knowledge of construction activities and sequencing
- Experience using Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Valid Driver’s License
Salary/Benefits - Salary is dependent upon related education and certifications and years of related experience. Range: $50,000 – $135,000

Office Engineer
Promatech, Inc. is looking for an experienced professional to work as an Office Engineer.
Roles and Responsibilities- Update data in the PROCORE System through direct input of contract related information or up-loading other data files.
- Assist with preparation of project status reports to identify progress and monitor the project schedule, budget, and staffing plan.
- Assist in the development of new quality control processes where needed, in collaboration with the project team and project stakeholders.
- Represent Client’s Task Manager and/or the Program Manager at meetings as assigned.
- Maintain the contract files and project logs that include Contractor-Client correspondence, Contractor invoices and progress payments, coordinate contract changes and claims, time sheets and overtime, and cost estimates for changes to contract work.
- Monitor and maintain contract logs with distribution of documents between Contractor and Client staff for compliance with contract time commitments.
- Coordinate the collection of daily inspection reports from field inspectors, record lost time for Contractors, and reconcile the lost time from the Contractors.
- Coordinate progress meetings with the Contractor, Project staff, and technical consultants. Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Support staff with collection of contract data and documentation to resolve contract changes and claims.
- Perform other duties assigned by Client’s Task Manager and/or the Program Manager.
Job Requirements - A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field plus a minimum of three years demonstratable experience in quality control and/or construction safety. A minimum of one year out of five shall be in the transportation industry or large-scale construction sector.
- Demonstrated Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) experience on rail transit projects, specifically on electrical systems.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the design, construction, or project planning/management of electrical installations or similar infrastructure.
- Demonstrated past experience in a QA/QC role in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, and strong technical writing skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and PROCORE.
Salary/Benefits - Salary is dependent upon related education and certifications and years of related experience. Range: $70,000 – $100,000
